Harry Potter Really Does Exist And He Will Burn In Hell

I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, and I will tell you it is no better than child pornography. It exploits children, but rather than abuse them for a sexual purposes, the movie parades them in front of the camera to lure both children and adults to the practice of witchcraft and sorcery and away from Jesus. Images of children flying brooms, fighting dragons and other monsters, mixing potions and casting spells corrupt a moviegoer's mind, tempting them to believe that witchcraft and sorcery are fun and magical and that its practitioners can be heroes. But this is nothing more than propaganda! Besides the fact that witchcraft can never bring you to Jesus Christ, to salvation, witchcraft is evil, is a tool of the Devil. If Harry, Ron, and Hermione are not saving the world from Lord Voldemorte; instead, they use their powers to lure people to Satan. Harry most likely uses his wand for abortions, Ron and Hermione to tempt men into their bed; and all three use their powers to kill Christians and drink their blood, because in reality, that's what witches and sorcerers do. Christian leaders and churches, including the Vatican, though, have embraced Harry Potter, tempted as easily as children into believing such stories promoting witchcraft are harmless. But they forget: the Bible commands that we must "be stong in the Lord and in the power of His might." We must "Put on the whole armor of God" so that we "may be able to stand against the wiles of hte devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavely places." What are we teaching our children when we allow them to read or see the filth of Harry Potter or when we, ourselves read or see it? Instead of forcing them to the Lord as they should be forced, protecting them in the armor of God, we are casting them into the arms of Satan if we allow them to be introduced to any ideas contrary to what the Lord teaches. It's tempting to believe that witches and sorcerers don't really have magical powers, that they are nothing more than harmless fantasy, regardless of whether or not they have rejected Jesus as our Lord and Savior. However, this would be a mistake, for while we think they don't really have magical powers, this is only what they want the general public to believe, as witches/sorcerers corrupt our minds and control our leaders. How else do you explain the fact that Harry Potter sits on the shelves of school libraries, while school prayer and Bibles are thrown out like yesterday's garbage -- in a Christian nation no less?!?!? Spells, I tell you, have been cast -- perhaps by the lesbian cabal, perhaps by environmentalists -- to control the minds of the public and our leaders and judges to promote the homosexual agenda, to allow abortion, and to trick us all into hysteria over global warming. But true Christians, never fear! We have God on our side, and He is more than able to fight the forces of Evil. Harry Potter will burn in hell. Until then, don't let your children read it.

Hillarious? Am I serious? What about my words is not serious? The Bible is no laughing matter; and I am as serious as any Christian who believes the Bible is literal truth and lives a righteous life to escape eternal hellfire and the suffering of the end-times. And witchcraft is serious business, both literally and figuratively, since the Harry Potter franchise has made billions of dollars in profits and stolen many of our childrens' (and adults') minds, corrupting them with the influence of the Devil. I will pray for you, pray that your mind will one day be freed so that you may understand the rightness of the Bible and the seriousness of my words.

What are your feelings about the Lord of the Rings Series then?

You list Narnia as a series you like, but did you know that J.R.R. Tolkien was the man who brought C.S. Lewis to Christ, and tha while Tolkien was a Catholic and Lewis ended up being an Anglican they were both members of a group of writers who thought that their beliefs were important as part of their works. (The Inklings)

Tolkien's works are rife with Magic and Magic Use, as are Lewis's. What is it that Aslan uses when he Heals Narnia? Doesn't it Say he uses an Ancient Magic.

Read things closer my friend, and study the origins of the Good Book a bit closer, you might be surprised what you find about how it was written.

Why would God give us minds that are good at Questioning and Critical Thinking and then Expect us to do neither.

I am a life long atheist. I don’t believe in god, the devil, the bible, witchcraft, Santa Claus, heaven, hell or Casper the ghost. I can separate fact from fiction. Harry potter is a CHARACTER in a FICTIONAL movie. Your god is a CHARACTER in a FICTIONAL book. Satan is also a CHARACTER in a FICTIONAL book. Religion was created thousands of years ago in the dark ages to explain NATURAL phenomena. As people became aware of the reasons for the NATURAL phenomena, people like you used fear and prejudice to control the masses for their own political gain. You can pray for me all you want…the number you are calling is disconnected or is no longer in service, please hang up and get a clue.

anonymous, the only good character in Narnia that actually has magical ability is Aslan, and He's God. The Witch, on the other hand, is Satan; and everyone else in the book that plays with magic, like the Uncle are bad. So I have no problem with witchcraft being portrayed in this light. Lord of the Rings, besides being exceedingly boring movies and books, are evil. Wizards should never be portrayed as good characters. And the fact that Tolkien was a Christian means nothing. So was Hitler.

it is fine for you to cast insults upon me rather than confronting your own weaknesses in faith. i do not mind. i only hope that regardless of what you think of me that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior. Hell is a terrible place.

sick and demented, you ARE GOING TO HELL (unless my prayers are answered by God and you have a change in faith). I will continue to pray for you, for yours must be a lonely life with no faith in anything, other than your own self righteousness. It is a hard thing to accept God's grace, I know; but realize that Heaven is eternal, while your life on Earth is not. Repent or once you die, you will burn in Hell along with Harry Potter. I really don't believe that in your heart of hearts your life is so empty; you are a victim of witchcraft, probably: spells are preventing you from seeing the light.

Ok so let me get this straight...when I die my FICTIONAL spirit will go to a FICTIONAL place along side a FICTIONAL character from a FICTIONAL movie because I a victim of a FICTIONAL spell. hmmm...ok...so when exactly did you stop taking your meds?

sick and demented, for someone who refuses to accept the fact that the Bible is literal truth, you sure do take things literally. Harry Potter did not literally cast a spell on you, but you are the victim of some form of witchcraft. I am highly amused at the irony of your accusation regarding my taking medication: your mind is the one that has been corrupted by an outside influence.

Blasphemy!!! I cannot sit quietly and listen to such things! You will face God's wrath when Christ, our Lord and Savior comes again to judge the world and all of its inhabitants! And when he returns it will not be as an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, or as a peasant riding on a donkey, but as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS!

Good Christian Soldiers - Let us not become disheartened by such talk. Hold Fast! The battle lines have been drawn, and we must remain vigilent and stand at the ready for when our savior returns!

Then how do you explain Tolkien being the one who lead Lewis to Christ?

I specifically remember there being a fair number of magical creatures on the side of Good in Narnia as well.

There were dwarfs and tree spirits and fauns and centaurs.

How is that not trucking with magical creatures, which you seem to indicate are creatures of the Satan, Demons in other words.

It is fact that more people in America believe in creationism than evolution. i take comfort in that knowledge, that like minded, good individuals make up the majority and vote for our leaders. i'm sure you, on the other hand, find it funny, at least on the outside. in the inside, though, your soul is crying.

I find it demeaning and very close minded of you to imply that everyone who does not believe in Christ is under the influence of some kind of witchcraft.

You sound like one of the Inquisitors from the 14th century, willing to slaughter anyone just because they are slightly abnormal. Just because they are not a good enough Christian, or they are too good a Christian (and clearly trying to hide their inheriently diabolic nature). Because someone owned a cat, or their neighbor died, regular people were hanged and burned for being witches. Literature was twisted - the Canon Episcopi, which originally stated that it was blasphemy to believe in witches was mutated and turned to suit the churches needs and wants. The Knights Templar were slaughtered because the church desired the group's land and money.

I also believe that you take the bible in too literal a context. There are so many cultural paramters in it that are no longer applicable to todays society. I suppose because I have an eyebrow ring, I am going to hell. And, should I ever cheat on my boyfriend, be stoned publically in the street, so that everyone may know my shame, nevermind the Charter of Rights and all that fancy legal jazz..

No matter. You and your site have provided only one more reason why I no longer count myself among Christ's faithful. God knows where my heart is, and it lays not with those who show such vile hatred of people different from themselves, who refuses to even think about any other sides of the story that there might be. "Love thy neighbors..."

lisa, des, anonymous -- it amuses me that the Harry Potter post has brought you witches out of the woodwork. i guess the fact that i've exposed the lie you and your people have been spreading by means of witchcraft and sorcery has scared you. for your information, i wish you read the site a little closer, for you would know that i do not espouse the belief that witches should be slaughtered (my site partner, JD Parnell, on the otherhand, does believe you should be slaughtered; but there is always room for SOME disagreement in our faith). you would know that, instead, I prefer methods of public humiliation and torture. i am not a closed minded, heartless guy. Rather than stone you for cheating on your boyfriend, i think i'd prefer to shoot you with rubber bullets. that would not only accomplish the goal of teaching you a lesson, but it would be fun -- like paintball.

Harry Potter is a fictional character, but here are some points I would like to make on the subject: Jesus Christ also performed magik as Harry did. A miracle is still magik, no matter how you think. So before you start to condemn other people, you need to read the Bible more closely, before you start lighting fires or throwing stones or rubber bullets, whichever the case may be. Besides, most of the Gods and Goddesses that Pagans worship came thousands of years before yours! So please do not trash other religions that you can neither comprehend nor understand.

Recently I saw a program on TV that was trying to explain the Bible in its truths and lies, so if you read Matthew you will find out that Jesus did not arise from the dead because his disciples stole his body.

Yours truly,
Khafre

Slaughtering other human beings? Torture? Shooting people with rubber bullets in a game of human paintball? We've certainly come a long way since the inquisition, haven't we? If that's truly what you believe, Nathaniel, you and Parnell are no better than Osama Bin Laden and Sadaam Hussein!

And for your information, Nathaniel, neither Des and I are witches. I don't know Lisa personally, but I'm sure she isn't either. Do you need proof? Well, how about this: if we were witches, you wouldn't be spreading this neo-puritaincal garbage all over the web. We'd put a stop to it. Mark my words.

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I'd go berserk?
Well. . .

And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I had said
That losing you would make me flip my lid
Right. . .

You know you laughed, I heard you laugh
You laughed, you laughed and laughed
And then you left
But now you know I'm utterly mad!
And. . .

They're coming to take me away, HA HA

To the happy home
With trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile
And twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

I cooked your food
I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind, unselfish loving deeds?!!
Hah. . .

Well you just wait
They'll find you yet
And when they do they'll
Put you in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!
And. . .

They're coming to take me away, HA HA

You know, Nathaniel, you bash Harry Potter and call it child pornography, but I happened to notice that you cited "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as one of *your* favorite movies. Lets take a closer look at that one, from a "concerned Christian perspective," shall we?

Take the character Willy Wonka, for instance. In his youth, Wonka was an ungrateful, disobedient little brat who broke one of the ten commandments by running away from home and building chocolate factory instead of becoming a dentist as his father wished! What's more, he lent his services to pagans when he built a palace for the prince of India (who was most certainly either Buddhist or Hindu and therefore worshipped Satan) out of chocolate! Tsk! Tsk! But that's only the icing on the cake! Why, the very name "Willy Wonka" implies the act of masturbation, which every good Christian knows is the precurser to homosexuality. So certainly Wonka must be a homosexual! If he wasn't, why didn't he just marry some woman and turn her into a baby factory instead of populating the world with chocolate?

But homosexuality isn't the only dark, sinful undertone of the film. Didn't anybody notice that Wonka, as portrayed by Johnny Depp, bears a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson in his dress and his mannerisms? And that he lured children into his chocolate factory as Jackson lured children into Neverland ranch? Oh, of course it all *seems* innocent enough the naive, who would argue that Wonka must truly had a good heart in order to give his chocolate factory to dear little Charlie. But did he??? Was there a string attached? A string that neither Charlie nor his family detected?

Now lets take the Oompa Loompas, who were natives of South America, I do believe, and therefore most certainly pagans! Actually, strike that last statement! THEY MOST DEFINITELY WERE PAGANS BECAUSE THEY WERE SEEN WORSHIPPING A COCOA BEAN!!! And did you notice that the boy Oompa Loompas looked just like the girl Oompa Loompas, which meant that the girl Oompa Loompas were probably part of the Lesbain Cabal!
Sinful, sinful, sinful!

Now lets look at the grandparents...hmmm...what have we here? AHA!!! TWO ADULT COUPLES SLEEPING TOGETHER IN THE SAME BED!!! Of course, someone with a pure, innocent mind might argue that they were only doing this to keep warm, since the Buckett's house was so cold and the family was so poor. BUT WERE THEY???? Oh no. You can rest assured, dear children, that when the lights were out and the fire grew dim, THESE FOUR PEOPLE ENGAGED IN THE MOST DEPRAVED ORGIES KNOWN TO MANKIND!!! Which is ESPECIALLY SINFUL BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO OLD TO MAKE BABIES!!! And with innocent young Charlie in the house! Tsk! Tsk!

I trust I've made my point. After all, evil, in the end, is evil. There is no middle ground. So if you condemn one film, merely because you were able to read nonsense into it, you must condemn both.

kia/des -- i meant to put charlie in my favorite book category, so that was my mistake. i saw the movie, too, and mostly agree with kia's analysis. that stuff, however, is not in the book; instead, it's simply a story about disobedient, spoiled children getting their comuppence. that is a theme that really needs to be drilled into children today. i can't remember if the backstory regarding the oompa loompas was in the book; but in any event, while they may be pagans, they are essentially slaves to wonka, which is a very wholesome message.

Gee, and all these years I thought it was a story about Chocolate!

As for my analysis, I wrote that primarliy as a joke, but also to illustrate how you can read anything you wish into a movie, literary work, whatever. If you want to interpret something as being dirty or demonic you can. It all depends on how you wish to look at things.
