HELL
If you do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you do not accept Him as your savior, you will go to Hell. And Hell is not a fun place. It's a terrible, excruciating place. You will be beaten and cut and stabbed and burned; and eventually all your flesh will be stripped away until you are nothing but bones that Satan will then grind and grind until you are nothing but dust. You may think that your pain and suffering is over, but then Satan will give you your body back and start anew.

well, jess'ka your question brings up some rather painful memories for me, but if it will convince you that I am deadly serious and scare you on to a path of righteousness, I will gladly relive it. Jesus, you see, spoke to me in the shower. But not in the normal way that Jesus speaks to people in the shower. As I was lathering myself, humming a 19th century Bible hymn, just sure that I was living the life of a good Chrisitan male simply because I went to church every Sunday, a large black male startled me with a punch to the face. Then a kick to the head, and then... well, I don't remember what happened next. But what I do remember is that as I lay dying in pool of water and blood, this figure dressed in white robes took me by the hand and guided me toward this white light. I just knew it was Jesus and that he was taking me up to heaven. But then, just as we were about to enter the light, he stopped and looked at me with very sad eyes. Then he said: "Nathaniel, you think you have been a good Christian simply because you believe in me. But you haven't been. For you have not been living up to your potential. You have a gift for leadership, but have used this gift only for helping yourself, not others. Think of what you could have done if you used your powers to lead people to me. So many sould would have been saved. Now they are forever condemed to eternal Hellfire, just as you are now so condemned." And then Jesus took me by the hand again and led me in a different direction, this time in the direction of gigantic flames from which I could also hear the screams of great suffering. But he did not leave me at the entrance of Hell. No, he stepped into it with me. He led me to the torture chambers. He made me watch as demons cut and stabbed and burned. He would not let me look away as the remaining bones were ground to dust. And then, just as I thought the suffering was over, the condemed reappeared and the demons started anew. Then Jesus turned to me and spoke again. "See what you have to look forward to? See what your wasted talents have led to? Now go back and make amends." And next thing I knew I was back in the shower bleeding to death.
jess'ka, I only wish my control of the English language was great enough to do justice to the whole experience. If it were, you would not doubt that I speak the truth. I'll pray for you, though.
who says non-believers aren't afraid of pain -- that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. They can't deny themselves the simplest thing and submit to God -- it would be too painful. and to say that non-believers aren't afraid of pain because they aren't afraid of hell is just as dumb, because many non-believers don't believe in hell.
people who do not accept jesus as their lord and savior WILL suffer. that is simply a fact. and while i accept that people are entitled to their opinion, i do not accept that their opinion can be used to corrupt society and my children.
no doubt -- satan and sinners WILL be punished by God, with emphasis on WILL, since, if i remember correctly, the passage you quote from the Bible is a vision of the future, not something that is currently taking place.

that an all-loving creator, who cares so much for mankind that he would sacrifice his only son for us, only to sadistically torture those who do not believe eternally.
Or the idea that this all powerful being needs to resort to emotion arm twisting to get he way, behaving as a spoiled child.
Or that people still believe in this medeveil nonsense.
I seem to recall reading in Ecc chapter nine that the dead are conscious of nothing... and that the wages of sin is death... not eternal torture.
Go see a shrink and find the rationale for this "vision"
I believe that the term that you think of is called schizophrenia. So, a random black man broke into your house and punched and kicked you in your own home? Then left wthout taking anything? Just a random beating?
You see, nathianiel, that that dream was your imagination. If you were beaten in the privacy of your own home, you were knocked unconceous and beacuse of your religiousness, you had a dream of jesus. You had a doubt that you were going to live, so as a survival mechanism, your brain dreamped of the story that you have told before us. That gave your body the will to live because it agve you a reason to live. Something to live for. Spreading the gospel. In a way, religion saved your life. However, it you were not that deep into the bible, you would have dreamed of something else. In your dream, Jesus took you to hell and showed you torture chambers. This is because in your subconceous mind, you had doubts that you were doing all that you can to keep people out of hell. Your brain saw the chance to shock you out of dying and seized the opportunity. You therefore related to hell as a place where you will go if you don't live to become what you are now. The reason why religion was so ingrained into your mind was because your parents were just as deep. Your mind from an early age made the connection between praying and being rewarded, and not praying and getting abused. Your brain does not like damage done to its body, so it learns to do the actions to be rewarded, and not to do the actions that cause damage to the oragnism,(your body). You, like every other person on this world is an organism, an animal. Homo sapiens.

Now, I personally am not Christian, but I do believe in God, and Jesus as well, though Satan's out of the question. And I still can't grasp the concept that an all loving, all merciful, omnipotent being would create a place where people are tortured for all eternity, just because they didn't follow every single literal detail written in a book which wasn't NEARLY entirely written by Christ. I also don't see why you'd name your blog "Jesus Loves Everything", when you are very blatantly and obviously a racist, a sexist, and a fanatic. Sounds to me like "Everything" constitutes as "racist, sexist, priveledged, fanatic white men". Glad I don't fall under that category...
