Science is Evil: Part Deux
Yes, we all know science is evil, how it is being used for abortion, for genetic manipulation, cloning, and for the spreading of filth throughout our culture, while making us sicker and fatter and swelling our daughters' breasts at prepubecent ages, such that they look not unlike Britney Spears by the time they are 10 -- the list goes on and on, really, without even getting into how scientists have actively tried to strip God from science classes and replace Him with the fraud that is evolution. And here is yet another example of the evil genius of scientists at work, an example that I find very intriguing, least of all because of the implications that it holds for my initial plan to outsource all science to Godless, heathen countries who don't mind being condemned to an eternity in Hell. Yes, the Japanese - a culture that worships spirits in inanimate objects -- have invented a device that can control humans. So that is what will be done if other countries are left to their own devices, pursuing whatever ends Satan wishes them to, while we attempt to create a righteous, beautiful place dedicated to God. With such power, they could potentially control us and make us worship their trees, their mountains, their weird half-animal/half human gods. And that is a great risk -- too great of a risk to simply abandon science all together and go about our peaceful, God-ly way. That is not to say we should go around teaching our children about biology and computers and evolution; -no, that, too, is dangerous; -no, instead, we should have special schools for special children, children that have a proven aptitude for things scientific, and teach science there to only a select few. And of course the school should be run by priests who monitor the activities of the children and guide them so their work serves Jesus. Eventually the children can graduate and will be placed in a special division of the Jesus Loves Everything Superstore -- the Jesus Loves Research and Development Department, where they can work on devices that make us, not only better Christians, but even more militarily able, so we can conquer the heathen countries that threaten us. Hopefully, by then we will have mastered the Japanese device and use it to control what the conquered beleive, such that they become good Christians, just as we will all be good Christians, because we will all be fitted with the device.
I know, I know, it sounds far fetched; however, who's to say that Christians can't dream?

Yes! We must work diligently toward achieving this goal. The targeted use of science, where appropriate, for advancing the will of God and destroying heathen cultures is righteous and just. We are going to fight this evil with every weapon at our command!!
the proof, dear spectral, is all around you. the sky, the treas, you and me -- these are obviously the work of a higher power, for we live on an earth much too perfect to be a product of randomness. if you were to find a watch on the beach, would you chalk it up to randomness or would you use your brain and recognize that somebody made it, just like God made us? But even if this isn't enough for you, the Bible says there is a God and that Jesus was His son and that Jesus died for our sins. If the Bible says it happened, then it happened. Who are you to question such an ancient book?
If someone's belief system is clearly wrong, like yours, and condemns a person to eternal hellfire, it is my duty as a Christian to try to save that person from their fate. That is why I am really excited about the possibility of a mind control device, for then people like you won't have a choice. Hopefully, one day we can all meet up in church and sing hymns together.
not damned, your heart is definitely in the right place, for using Satan's devices against him and all evil doers is a glorious thing. However, you must be careful not to cross the line into promoting the death penalty. While abortion doctors should definitely be punished and I rejoice at the fact they are condemned to an eternity in hell, sucking their brains out with their devices would most likely kill them. Instead, we should do something a little less drastic, like puncturing their skull with scissors (the same thing they do for a partial birth abortion) and then labotimizing them. I think that would strike a more appropriate balance.

I'll always be amazed at how some people just don't give G*d enough credit. Do you really think He couldn't be smart enough, creative enough, or powerful enough to come up with evolution?!? Someone made the rules of science, but the rules of science are still there. We are just slowly learning the beauty of His world through study and the natural curiosity He gifted us with.

anonymous -- i would never propose such a thing. i would, however, suggest that the bible is the word of God, and when He said he created the earth in six days and made man in his image, He wasn't lying. and if He wasn't lying, then evolution is simply not possible, given that it entails that we evolved from apes over millions of years. and while He may have given us curiosity, that was only to give us a choice between good and evil, between God and Satan. those of you that choose evolution before the bible are making such a choice, choosing darkness rather than light, hell rather than heaven.

I studied the Bible for over 20 years, and while I may not be an expert, I found more contradictions than facts.
When ever I would inquire about them all that I would receive was nonsensical RATIONALIZINGS that tried to convince me that it didn't mean what was being said or that I was interpreting it incorrectly. "You have to have faith."
Give me a solid foundation for "faith" and I will joyfully hop on the bandwagon. Otherwise, I will follow the evidence and leave the mythology alone.
This evolutionary lie that you refer to is a lie based on solid proveable evidence that continues to grow on a daily basis. I can only assume that you do not see it because: 1) you do not understand it, or 2) do not want to understand it.
Since the goal of scientists is to find the truth, somewhere along the path the Bible and science must cross paths and become in agreement. That is, if the Bible is truly the word of God and not an elaborate concoction made up by a wandering tribe of fanatics.
On a different note, I will agree that the Bible does make some very nice points with regards to human interactions and the way that we should treat one another. (Of course, you have to ignore the majority of the OT, with its wanton murder of foreigners and its use of rape and slavery, to do so.)
I would love to be able to believe in some almighty being that will come to my rescue when things get too rough, however, the evidence as presented in the Bible does not meet the criteria.
As regards Japan being Evil, GET A LIFE! What makes you think that the US is a christian nation, or that it was founded by christians? Read your history. Most of the founding fathers were either atheists, agnostics, or deists, not christians.

i suggest you open up a physics text book and begin to learn how beautifully this world works. How small offsets in geometry between two particles would completely throw off how conductors and how matter behave. How this allignment occurs naturally in electricty in 10^-9 seconds. thats (.00000001 seconds). All this occurs naturally, its due to an electric field, but that occurs naturally. how perfectly it works out. I was talking about this to a friend whos a physics major, and we both said the same thing. Its as if this whole world was engineered. You get results in physics that are so beautiful. Theres Phenomnon that we cant explain at times. It just is. You see geometry in this world that is so pefect that any single disallignment would mess up a bond. The same bond that holds water together. Does this proof god. No it doesnt. I cant write a mathematical expression and say ok this is god. We can never prove god. Thats why its called faith. If you promote such a bad image of christianity for other people to see, it'll be even harder for them to believe in Christ. And if you manage that, it is you who might go to hell. For Jesus came and had compassion on the sinners. He didn't criticize them. He didn't rebuke them. He rebuked the pharisees - Those who know God but doesn't do what he says.
Nathan, I implore you. Grow in Christ and do what Jesus do. Would Jesus have made a blog about Japan and science being bad? No, he would have compassion on those who are suffering and actually do something about it.
It is hard to convince 99% of people to become a Christian and that is evident here. But if you start making an effort, then you will be rewarded. Respect other religions and people, for if you do that, at least you have a slight CHANCE that they will believe you. Love your enemies, have compassion on the lost.
Get into a good bible-spiritual based church without wonky ideologies. If you don't, you won't grow. If you don't grow you'll never know Jesus personally. If you don't know Jesus personally, he will say i don't know you get a way from me.

The sky is there only due to the GRAVITY of the Earth!!! It is blue due to a reflection of blue light particles into our eyes. The Earth formed from a rotating disk of gas around 6 billion years ago. The heavy elements gathered and formed large rocks that collided with others to create a planet! The light gases came together H, HE to form the sun, a star. The Earth and the sun along with seven other planets and "dwarf planets" are round because gravity pulls in all directions in space, pulling everything uniformly into a circle. The "7 Days" is a metaphor for a long period of time. How do you explain fossil remains of dinosaurs? What always dubious me is that: almost science studens believes in "BING BANG THEORY, LAMARK THEORY,DARWINS THEORY" and claim to be respectful to their religion. Irrespective of my religion,no any religion that believed in them,vividly to the abhored it vehemently. Science has no any vital role to the development of dis universe as some scientist posses.
